B2S Life Sciences announced in February that it donated $5,000 in support of the Campaign for the Sciences at Franklin College, highlighting the company’s latest investment in the local community.
The donation will support the renaming of the new science building rooms at the Franklin College Center for the Sciences and is in addition to a previous donation made last year.
“Planting roots in Franklin means actively engaging with the local community through our time and resources to invest in the future of its citizens and businesses,” said Ron Bowsher, Ph.D., Partner and CSO, B2S Life Sciences. “We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with Franklin College and we look forward to a fruitful relationship into the future.”
The Campaign for the Sciences focuses on the renovation and expansion of the Franklin College Center for the Sciences, a state of the art facility designed to accommodate a newly revised research based curriculum. B2S Life Science’s donation will help guarantee that Franklin College will maintain its place as a leader in small private college science education.
Since its arrival in Franklin, B2S Life Sciences has established itself as a corporate partner with the college. The close proximity and natural fit between the two entities has lent itself to student internships; hiring recent graduates; and serving as guest lecturers in some of the college’s science classes.
